Founder Story

Why This Foundation Exists

The Good Life Education & Empowerment Foundation was born from a simple belief: access changes lives.

Founder Dr. Kel’li Sherrene Cole understands firsthand the power of education, mentorship, opportunity, and perseverance. Throughout her career, she has served as a nurse, educator, entrepreneur, author, consultant, and community leader. Along the way, she witnessed a common challenge: too many people possessed the talent, vision, and determination to succeed but lacked access to the resources and support needed to move forward. Rather than accept those barriers, she committed her life to helping remove them.

What began as a passion for helping individuals improve their lives grew into a larger mission to create pathways for education, entrepreneurship, workforce development, financial empowerment, and personal transformation. Through her work, thousands of individuals have received guidance, training, mentorship, and access to resources that helped them pursue their goals and build brighter futures.

The Foundation was established to expand that impact beyond classrooms, businesses, and individual coaching sessions. Today, it serves students, entrepreneurs, families, returning citizens, and underserved communities by connecting people with opportunities that can create lasting change.

“At its heart, this work is about more than programs. It is about people. It is about helping someone believe again, start again, learn again, and build again.”

Every scholarship awarded, every entrepreneur supported, every family served, and every life transformed brings us one step closer to a future where opportunity is not limited by circumstance. Because when people are given access to education, support, and hope, a good life truly becomes possible.

Core Values

The principles that shape every decision we make.

Faith & Integrity

We steward every dollar, partnership, and opportunity with transparency and excellence.

Transformational Access

We open doors to education, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and workforce mobility for overlooked communities.

Compassionate Leadership

Strong communities are built by leaders who combine vision, accountability, and humanity.

Long-Term Stewardship

We are building an institution — not a moment — designed for generational impact.

Impact Philosophy

Holistic by design.

We believe true transformation happens when education, visibility, workforce access, entrepreneurship, and compassionate support are designed together — not in silos. Every program is built to remove a barrier, restore confidence, and create durable access.

Future Vision

Built for multi-city growth.

The foundation is positioning for multi-city expansion, stronger grant competitiveness, corporate sponsorship, and flagship community activations that scale the mission with excellence.
